Millipedes and Centipedes
Only a few Millipedes and Centipedes have been found and identified in the area. The Pill Millipede Glomeris marginata. has been found in Chalet Wood, Wanstead Park, as has a black millipede Ophyiulus pilosus. The centipede Lithobius forficatus has also been found in Wanstead Park, and another centipede Haplophilus subterraneus in a garden in Lorne Road, Forest Gate.
