Lesser Celandine is a common enough plant in Wanstead Park, being found in numerous locations.

It occurs in a number of sub-species (subsp.) of which subsp. ficaria is perhaps the most common and subsp. bulbilifer also very common. It has not been determined which of these occur in Wanstead Park, but based on cursory looks at the shape of the petals, it is thought that both do.

The photograph is of a plant with narrow and spaced petals, and this is likely to be subsp. bulbilifera.
