Wanstead Wildlife : photographs of plants

These pages contain photographs of some of the plants that occur in and around Wanstead Park. Use the menu bar to the left to choose a particular location within the study area.

Names both scientific and English are generally those used in "New Flora of the British Isles" 2nd edition, by Clive Stace. (CUP), although in some cases the English name may differ.

The numbers after the name relate to the page number on which that species is referred to in "New Flora"

The large scale photographs have been labeled with the date photographed and the location.

All of the photographs have been taken "in the field", and all actually in the area to which the plant refers, hence if a photograph appears in the section of plants of Wanstead Park, then it was taken in the Park!
