This bright green spider spent at least a few days on the upperside of a rose-leaf, trapping prey by means of its web on the underside of the leaf. A trapped spider can be seen in the photograph.

It is said to be quite common in gardens in the London area. It was also found in the City of London Cemetery on 03/10/2007.
