Apart from a patch that I have not found recently near Bush Wood, until 2016 the only location that I knew of this species was off Aldersbrook Road, adjacent to the scrub area opposite St. Gabriel's Church.

I missed finding this patch for a few years as it is mainly hidden within brambles, perhaps only being very evident when in flower, then re-found it in 2015. Later, in August 2016, I found two stems amongst newly-growing gorse on the slopes leading down to the Brickfields, or Dell, area of the Flats, some hundreds of metres to the west.
