This attractive plant was spotted in a fenced-off area at the SW edge of Jubilee Pond

I haven't determined what species this is; there are a number of garden escapes that are possibilities.

The Eryngiums are commonly known as sea-hollies, but in this case it is not the native Sea-holly E. maritinum but a garden species, which although occasionally naturalises, was probably an accidental introduction here and may well not survive.
