The specimen shown in the photograph was the only known example of this species on Wanstead Flats when found by Jubilee Pond in June 2007.

A patch - maybe the same one - was still in this location in 2016, but in addition a large number of plants were now present particularly towards the bottom of the slopes (H4/5) leading down to the Brickfields or Dell area of the Flats on the east side of Centre Road, in August 2016.
