Most of the bluebells on Wanstead Flats have proved to be Spanish Bluebells, Endymion hispanica but at the corner of Manor Park Flats near to the City of London Cemetery gates there are many which are mainly the native bluebell Endymion non-scripta.

However, there are some Spanish Bluebells nearby and some hybridisation may have taken place.
