More

This patch of Cuckoo Flower was first noted in 2002 and has appeared at the same location every year since. In more recent years bramble has encroached somewhat and it can be to some extent lost amongst it.

The location is at the east side of the track from Wanstead Park that runs from the Dell Bridge, just as the track leaves the boundary trees.

It is the only Cuckoo flower known in the old sewage works, although more may be found in scattered patches around the Ornamental Water, and also in the City of London Cemetery.
