This and other fern species is growing on the north-facing front wall of a house in Capel Road, near to The Golden Fleece pub.

Other examples of this species have been found in the City of London Cemetery, and on the rear garden wall of a house by the Woodlands Abvenue wayleave by Wanstead Park.
