Planted as a specimen tree on 16th March 2017.

As can be seen in the photograph, the tree was not protected, and a year later was not looking as healthy as when planted. Muntjac deer were known to be in the cemetery, and the main stem had signs of damage - quite possibly from those deer. Subsequently a wire fence was put round the tree, and in 2020 it still survives.
