Not a Cedar (which is a member of the Pine family - Pinaceae) but a member of the Juniper family - Cupressaceae, this is one of the giant trees of N. America.

This is a young tree, the foliage reaching the ground all around, but when more mature the lower trunk will be more exposed, fluted and soft, dark red-brown. In 2014 this tree - numbered 2566 in the cemetery data base - was 8m tall; full grown they can be 45m.
