Affecting an axillary bud of an oak on Wanstead Flats. Andricus species are gall-formings wasps in the family Cynipidae. First recorded in Britain in 1997 in Berkshire (British Plant Galls, Redfern and Shirley), Andricus aries is now common in London and SE England. |
