Manor Park garden, 19 October 2019
|
The Box Tree Moth was first noted in this area by Tim Harris in his Belgrave Road (Leytonstone) garden on 27th July 2015. In 2018, the Box hedge around the patio area of the Poppy Pantry in the City of London Cemetery was seen to be infested with the larvae of this moth, and by the end of the year it had been almost decimated, with the larva having eaten away the leaves. There are many colour forms of this moth.: |
