Helicidae Notes
Known as the Hairy Snail, this was found, together with two others, under a felt put near the Aldersbrook Changing Rooms on Wanstead Flats.

The hairs which give it its name may just be seen in the photograph, although these do tend to get worn off.

It may be found in a variety of habitats and is quite common and widespread in Britain.
