Notes
There were numbers of these small (c.2.5mm) flies around the honeysuckle leaves in the garden on this morning.
I believe that they are members of the Chloropidae family, but the species would be hard to determine. They do look like Thaumatomyia notata, which would seem to be a common species, often swarming at this time of year and sometimes in houses.
