This species has been found - as in the photograph - in Wanstead Park, but also in my garden in Capel Road. They are said to be perhaps the most common species of bush-cricket to be seen, particularly in the south of England. The specimen here is a male, as indicated by the lack of an ovipositor, which is very noticeable in the female. |
