This specimen was in the house one morning. At first I thought it was dead. After I'd taken the photograph, however, it walked off. I think it may be O. singularis, but am not sure.

O. singularis is a a species that favours mixed woodlands, and although not a particularly thickly wooded area here, there are plenty of trees, both lining Wanstead Flats and in adjacent Manor Park Cemetery. They also feed on raspberry and rhododendron, Certainly the latter is fairly common here.
