Apidae Notes
A common species in the area, often particularly observed in the City of London Cemetery, where there are a variety of flowering plants to provide nectar, and in my Capel Road garden.

Here, particularly since I re-structured a pond, the bees in a continuous flow throughout spring and summer land on duckweed, presumably to get moisture. There are apparently five bee hives in adjacent Manor Park Cemetery, so they may well be visiting from there.
