This exotic African species set up residence in late 2009 in the Bush Wood/Lake House area, with visits to Bush Wood and the Aldersbrook estate.

Obviously an escape, it was certainly a strange sight to see, and equally strange to hear.

It was still present in 2019, with reports of it trying to entice chickens in a garden on the Aldersbrook estate, and was finally reported to have died in 2023.
