A surprise find - growing hard by the edge of  the allotments in the lane leading down past the stables. The nearest other plants of this species that I know of are between the Roding and the A406 link road, north of Redbridge roundabout. Would have expected any specimens nearer here to have been closer to the Roding itself.

However, a return visit to where this plant was growing on 11th June found that the roadside verge had been strimmed, and the plant couldn't be found!
