An attractive display of one of the patches of Creeping Willow on Wanstead Flats.

Described in Ken Adam's 3rd Essex Flora as rare and declining in Essex due to loss of open heath, there are perhaps 5 or 6 patches on Wanstead Flats; this patch is very close to the frequently mown playing fields on Aldersbrook Flats.
