Roding Valley Way signposts

Notes
This signpost, pointing to "Roding Valley Way 20yds" and "Empress Avenue" indicating half a mile, was put up shortly before 21 March 2008. It is situated just outside of the eastern boundary of the City of London Cemetery (from where the picture was taken), and points directly to the south entrance to the old sewage works site (The Exchange Lands).

The direction to the Roding Valley Way leads directly to the old gate of the sewage works, at which point the recently completed hard-surface track stops abrubtly. The other pointer is what I consider to be the prefered route for the cycles to take, alongside the cemetery. However - much in need of clearing as it has been and with the direction clearly indicated - it remains virtually impassable!
