Leytonstone Meadow and Blake Hall Meadow

Leytonstone Meadow and Blake Hall (or Wanstead) Meadow are two area of land that have been seeded as open spaces adjacent to buildings and roads, rather than historic open spaces.

Leytonstone Meadow lies adjacent to the Central Line underground lines near Leytonstone station, and between those and Gainsborough Road. The strip adjacent to a wall on the other side of the road from the meadow proper has been included here. Blake Hall Meadow incorporates a cycle/pedestrian route between Blake Hall Road and the Green Man roundabout system, parallel with the busy link road.
