The Aldersbrook area and the Alders Brook

On the following pages are some photographs of plants that occur in the area of Aldersbrook estate, the bridle path around the City of London Cemetery, and the Alders Brook itself.

Some of the plants photographed here are casuals growing by the roads of the estate, or perhaps are deliberate introductions such as trees in streets and in people's gardens. The Alders Brook is a much more 'natural' area, though here may be found plants that have been cast out in the form of rubbish tipping, or may originate from nearby alllotments.
